The Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) softball routed the visiting New London Whalers (New London, CT), 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Bellringers go into the Shoreline - Large bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, East Hampton was routed by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 20-0, in a league bout.
The Whalers now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Windham for a non-league bout on Friday, April 26. New London will confront a Whippets squad coming off a 15-14 league win over Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT). The Whippets record now stands at 1-7.
