Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI), 8-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Alpena moves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Marquette (Marquette, MI) to battle the Redmen in a non-league match on Saturday, April 26. The Redmen come into the match with a record of 2-2. Marquette won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Westwood (Ishpeming, MI)

The Ramblers now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grayling for a Lake Michigan match on Thursday, April 24. Boyne City will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 15-13 non-league win over Onaway (Onaway, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 5-2.
