The Braintree Wamps baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Norwood Mustangs to 0 in the Wamps non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wamps now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Duxbury for a non-league test on Friday, April 25. Braintree will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Barnstable (Hyannis, MA). The Dragons record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Norwood drops to 1-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Natick (Natick, MA) to clash with the Redhawks in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Redhawks go into the test with a record of 4-4. Natick lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA)
