The Darien Blue Wave baseball squad (Darien, CT), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT)

With the triumph, Stamford moves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT) to confront the Tigers in a Fairfield County contest on Monday, April 28. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Ridgefield won 4-2 in their recent league contest against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT)

The Blue Wave now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a Fairfield County contest on Friday, April 25. Darien will confront a Cadets squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Cadets record now stands at 4-5.
