The Elkins Tigers baseball squad (Elkins, WV), was edged 9-8 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV)

With the triumph, Lewis County moves its record to 2-10 on the season. The Minutemen host Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to confront the Big Blacks in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 24. The Big Blacks come into the contest with a record of 11-6. Point Pleasant won 8-5 in their recent non-league contest against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV)

The Tigers now possess a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grafton for a Big Ten contest on Thursday, April 24. Elkins will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Bearcats record now stands at 11-11.
