The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) and the host Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL), saw Fieldcrest's baseball team gain a win over Ridgeview by a tally of 10-0.

The Knights (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Mallards enter the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Henry-Senachwine was overwhelmed by Marquette (Ottawa, IL), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs face the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) in a Heart of Illinois battle, on Friday, April 25. Ridgeview will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Minutemen enter the battle with a 8-7 record after their 9-2 league win over Heyworth (Heyworth, IL).
