The Normal University Pioneers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Lincoln Railsplitters to 4 in the Pioneers league win on Wednesday.
The Pioneers now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morton for a non-league test on Friday, April 25. Normal University will play a Potters team coming off a 16-1 league win over Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Potters record now stands at 14-5.
With the defeat, Lincoln drops to 6-12 on the year. The Railsplitters host Morton (Morton, IL) to play the Potters in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Potters go into the test with a record of 14-5.
