The Metropolitan (Bronx, NY) baseball trounced the host Van Buren Vee Bees (Queens Village, NY), 20-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bathgate for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. Metropolitan will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Hamer (Bronx, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Van Buren drops to 0-7 on the year. The Vee bees host Jamaica (Jamaica, NY) to clash with the Beavers in a PSAL Queens - B South challenge on Monday, April 28. The Beavers go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Jamaica lost 9-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Edison Vo-Tech (Jamaica, NY)
