In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Thornton Fractional North Meteors.
The Vikings (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles come into the Southwest Suburban challenge with a 16-2 record. In their last challenge, Sandburg beat Lyons (LaGrange, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Meteors meet the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 30. Thornton Fractional North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
