Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mercy moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Bennington (Bennington, NE) to meet the Badgers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. The Badgers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Bennington won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE)

The Chieftains now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Buena Vista for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. Bellevue East will meet a Bison team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Benson (Omaha, NE). The Bison record now stands at 0-6.
