In Wednesday's non-league match, the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), by a count of 15-8.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a Seminole match, on Tuesday, April 29. Salem will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record.

The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors enter the Jefferson match with a 5-1 record.
