In Wednesday's non-league test, the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ), by a count of 16-2.
Next up, the Hillbillies battle the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a test, on Friday, April 25. Verona will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record.
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Crimson enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record.
