The Union Pines Vikings soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Gray's Creek Bears to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest for a Sandhills 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, April 29. Union Pines will play a Patriots squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Gray's Creek moves to 10-5 on the year. The Bears travel to South View (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Tigers in a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Friday, April 25. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-7. South View lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
