Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) and the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), witnessed Salem's lacrosse squad overcome Albemarle by a count of 9-2.

The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Cave Spring nipped Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 10-0, in a non-league test.

Next, the Patriots battle the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
