Illinois High School Lacrosse - St. Laurence drops to Carmel

Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL), 18-3 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Carmel advances its record to 6-5 on the season. The Corsairs travel to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to play the Redwings in a game on Thursday, April 24. The Redwings come into the game with a record of 3-5. Benet Academy won 14-0 in their recent league game against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
The Vikings now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. St. Laurence will play a Eagles team coming off a 9-1 league win over Northside (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
