In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Chesapeake Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-3 win over the Northeast Eagles.
The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Meade (Fort Meade, MD). The Mustangs enter the Freelance contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Meade was edged by Old Mill (Millersville, MD), 16-4, in a league contest.
Next, the Eagles meet the Annapolis Panthers (Annapolis, MD) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, April 25. Northeast will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 8-2 record after their 14-7 league win over Arundel (Gambrills, MD).
