Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) and the host Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), witnessed Collegiate's lacrosse squad gain a win over Freeman by a count of 10-8.
The Cougars (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA). The Tigers enter the Virginia Prep test with a 7-5 record.
Next, the Mavericks battle the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 26. Freeman will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the test with a 4-2 record after their 9-8 league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA).
