The New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) lacrosse nudged the visiting St. Peter's Prep Marauders (Jersey City, NJ), 9-8 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 26.
With the loss, St. Peter's Prep falls to 4-2 on the year. The Marauders travel to Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ) to face the Cougars in a Bianchi outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 4-2.
