St. Xavier Tigers (Louisville, KY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host South Oldham Dragons (Crestwood, KY), 12-11 in a league game.

With the victory, St. Xavier advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Fighting Crusaders in a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. The Fighting Crusaders come into the game with a record of 4-8. Archbishop Moeller won 14-8 in their recent non-league game against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN)

The Dragons now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oldham for a KSLL game on Thursday, April 24. South Oldham will play a Mustangs team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-8.
