The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) and the host Annawan-Wethersfield Titans (Kewanee, IL), observed Brimfield's softball team get by Annawan-Wethersfield by a tally of 5-0.

The Indians (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL). The Wildcats go into the Prairieland bout with a 10-5 record. In their last bout, Cuba/Spoon River Valley was routed by Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL), 13-12, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) in a Lincoln Trail bout, on Thursday, April 24. Annawan-Wethersfield will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Red Storm go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 16-0 league loss to Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL).
