The Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Brighton Bruins to 2 in the Monarchs league win on Wednesday.

The Monarchs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penfield for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. Our Lady of Mercy will confront a Patriots team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 2-5.
