The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) and the visiting Cambridge-South Dorchester Vikings (Cambridge, MD), observed Kent Island's softball team get by Cambridge-South Dorchester by a tally of 7-6.

The Buccaneers (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD). The Lions go into the Bayside - North bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Queen Anne's County was nipped by North Dorchester (Hurlock, MD), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Easton Warriors (Easton, MD) in a Bayside - North bout, on Thursday, April 24. Cambridge-South Dorchester will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 11-4 league win over Kent Island (Stevensville, MD).
