The Cumberland Pirates softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Neoga Indians to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Argenta-Oreana for a Lincoln Prairie battle on Thursday, April 24. Cumberland will confront a Bombers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Neoga moves to 4-11 on the season. The Indians host Altamont (Altamont, IL) to confront the Indians in a National Trail battle on Monday, April 28. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 13-5. Altamont won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL)
