In Wednesday's non-league test, the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Flora Wolves (Flora, IL), by a count of 13-2.
Next, the Golden Aces meet the Casey-Westfield Warriors (Casey, IL) in a Little Illini test, on Thursday, April 24. Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 19-2 record after their 6-3 league loss to Richland County (Olney, IL).
The Wolves (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Mules go into the Black Diamond East test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Fairfield toppled Flora (Flora, IL), 8-4, in a league test.
