The Green Hope Falcons triumphed over the visiting Wake Prep Academy Guardians softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons play the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Green Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Catamounts enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 13-2 league loss to Apex (Apex, NC).
The Guardians (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 14-3 record. In their last challenge, Bunn overcame Princeton (Princeton, NC), 21-2, in a non-league challenge.
