The Heath Bulldogs softball squad (Heath, OH), was routed 17-6 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH)

With the triumph, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH) to face the Rangers in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 26. The Rangers enter the contest with a record of 11-3. North Ridgeville won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Northridge for a Licking County contest on Monday, May 5.
