In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Holdingford Huskers softball team scored a tight 10-7 win over the Upsala Cardinals.
The Huskers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Swanville (Swanville, MN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Swanville nipped Browerville (Browerville, MN), 12-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 23. Upsala will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Rothsay (Rothsay, MN).
