Connecticut High School Softball - Pomperaug sneaks past New Fairfield

The Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) softball nipped the visiting New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT), 9-8 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Panthers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bunnell for a Southwest - Colonial outing on Thursday, April 24. Pomperaug will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, New Fairfield moves to 3-4 on the season. The Rebels travel to Masuk (Monroe, CT) to encounter the Panthers in a Southwest - Colonial outing on Thursday, April 24. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 5-1. Masuk won 31-5 in their recent league outing against Stratford (Stratford, CT)
