The Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm (Niantic, IL) softball routed the host North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL), 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Storm now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Greene for a non-league outing on Monday, May 5.

With the loss, North Mac moves to 2-11 on the season. The Panthers host Greenville (Greenville, IL) to encounter the Comets in a South Central outing on Friday, April 25. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 16-4. Greenville won 9-0 in their recent non-league outing against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL)
