Maryland High School Softball - Northern bounces Patuxent

The Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) softball routed the visiting Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 13-1 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Point for a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, April 25. Northern will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 17-1 league win over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Patuxent moves to 2-9 on the season. The Panthers host Great Mills (Great Mills, MD) to encounter the Hornets in a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, April 25. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 4-9. Great Mills lost 8-7 in their recent league outing against Lackey (Indian Head, MD)
