The Sandburg Eagles softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Oak Forest Bengals to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais for a SouthWest Suburban battle on Thursday, April 24. Sandburg will encounter a Boilermakers team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Oak Forest moves to 8-7 on the season. The Bengals host Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL) to encounter the Mustangs in a South Suburban battle on Thursday, April 24. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 9-8. Evergreen Park lost 5-3 in their recent league battle against Argo (Summit, IL)
