New Jersey High School Softball - Wayne Valley gets by Ridgewood

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Wayne Valley Indians softball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Ridgewood Maroons.
The Indians (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ). The Hornets go into the Big North - Independence match with a 10-0 record. In their last match, Passaic Valley tipped Paramus (Paramus, NJ), 12-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Maroons battle the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 26. Ridgewood will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Cutters go into the match with a 6-5 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ).
