The Washington Panthers triumphed over the visiting Streator Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record. The Little Giants enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL).
The Bulldogs (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league challenge with a 16-0 record. In their last challenge, Seneca overcame Woodland (Streator, IL), 15-0, in a league challenge.
