Ohio High School Softball - Utica bounces Zanesville

April 23, 2025: Utica, OH 43080

In Wednesday's league match, the host Utica Redskins softball team scored a nice 19-0 win over the Zanesville Blue Devils.

The Redskins (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Newark Catholic (Newark, OH). The Green Wave come into the Licking County match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Newark Catholic was routed by Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH), 2-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Blue Devils confront the Watkins Memorial Warriors (Pataskala, OH) in a Licking County match, on Friday, April 25. Zanesville will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 11-6 record after their 13-0 league win over Northridge (Johnstown, OH).
