Indiana High School Baseball - Homestead edges Norwell

April 23, 2026: Ossian, IN 46777

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) and the host Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN), saw Homestead's baseball team gain a win over Norwell by a tally of 5-3.

The Spartans (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, South Bend Adams by South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN), 7-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Angola Hornets (Angola, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 24. Norwell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 15-0 league loss to Garrett (Garrett, IN).
