The Shepherd Bluejays overwhelmed the host Beaverton Beavers softball squad by a count of 16-2 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Bluejays meet the Ogemaw Heights Falcons (West Branch, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 28. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 19-2 non-league win over Gladwin (Gladwin, MI).
The Beavers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Montabella toppled Merrill (Merrill, MI), 15-0, in a league challenge.
