The Howland Tigers (Warren, OH) softball nipped the visiting Nordonia Knights (Macedonia, OH), 6-5 in Sunday's non-league bout.

King's Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Howland Tigers Victory Over Nordonia
Howland Tigers took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple Nordonia. The game was tied at five with Howland Tigers batting in the bottom of the eighth when Zoe King doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
Brooke Tatar led Howland Tigers to victory by driving in four runs. Tatar went 3-for-4 at the plate. Tatar drove in runs on a double in the first, a groundout in the third, a home run in the sixth, and a single in the seventh.
Howland Tigers got things started in the first inning when Tatar doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
