New Jersey High School Baseball - Caldwell can't hold off Sparta

In Monday's non-league game, the host Sparta Spartans baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Caldwell Chiefs.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their game against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Wolfpack go into the North Jersey - National game with a 5-1 record.
The Chiefs (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ). The Pirates come into the Super Essex - American challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Seton Hall Prep got by Columbia (Maplewood, NJ), 8-1, in a league challenge.
