Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) and the visiting Warren/Stockton Warhawks (Warren, IL), saw Eastland's baseball squad knock off Warren/Stockton by a count of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - East battle, on Tuesday, April 25. Eastland will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Clippers enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 10-1 league win over Polo (Polo, IL).
