The Litchfield Cowboys baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers to 2 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Monday.
The Cowboys (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets go into the Berkshire match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Gilbert gained a win over Thomaston (Thomaston, CT), 13-8, in a league match.
The Mountaineers (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Wamogo (Litchfield, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Wamogo was overwhelmed by Canton (Canton, CT), 10-0, in a non-league match.
