The Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA) baseball the visiting Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA), 13-11 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Crimson Wave play the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a Central contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Petersburg will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Colonials enter the contest with a 9-1 record after their 7-1 non-league win over L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA).

The Tigers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greensville County for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, April 25. Sussex Central will play a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
