North Carolina High School Baseball - Tuscola holds off Swain County

The Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC) baseball the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 7-3 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers play the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Tuscola will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 6-10 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Enka (Enka, NC).

The Maroon Devils now sport a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andrews for a Smoky Mountain 1A contest on Tuesday, April 25. Swain County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
