Connecticut High School Volleyball - Bridgeport Central can't hold off Staples

April 24, 2023: Bridgeport, CT 06606

In Monday's league battle, the visiting Staples Wreckers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers.

The Wreckers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Norwalk was edged by Warde (Fairfield, CT), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hilltoppers encounter the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Wednesday, April 26. Bridgeport Central will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT).
