The Avon Eagles tipped the host Copley Indians lacrosse team by a score of 8-7 in Monday's league match.
With the win, Avon upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH) to meet the Blue Devils in a Region 1 challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Brunswick lost 20-4 in their recent league challenge against Medina (Medina, OH)
The Indians now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host St. Vincent-St. Mary for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25.
