Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL), 20-12 in a league test.

The Porters now have a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis for a non-league test on Thursday, April 27. Lockport will face a Spartans squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.

In their next game, the Indians face the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) in a Southwestern test, on Thursday, April 27. Minooka will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Ironmen come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 22-1 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL).
