The St. Francis Spartans lacrosse squad (Wheaton, IL), was nipped 12-11 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL)
Coming up next, the Vikings meet the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 3. St. Laurence will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Celtics enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL).
The Spartans now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lockport for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. St. Francis will meet a Porters squad coming off a 20-12 league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Porters record now stands at 8-2.
