Greer Yellow Jackets (Greer, SC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 25. Greer will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC).
The Panthers now possess a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boiling Springs for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 27. Chapman will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 league win over James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-7.
