In Monday's league battle, the host Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros soccer squad scored a good 10-1 win over the Northtown Pumas.
The Cristeros (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of Tepeyac (Chicago, IL). The Tigers go into the Chicago Prep battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Our Lady of Tepeyac was overwhelmed by Trinity (River Forest, IL), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Pumas (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ida Crown Jewish Academy (Chicago, IL). The Aces go into the Chicago Prep battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Ida Crown Jewish Academy notched a victory over Josephinum (Chicago, IL), 11-0, in a league battle.
