North Carolina High School Soccer - Watauga knocks off Forbush

The Watauga Pioneers soccer team scored 9 points and limited the host Forbush Falcons to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Pioneers face the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Watauga will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 2-8 record after their 4-3 league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).
The Falcons now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host East Surry for a Foothills 2A contest on Tuesday, April 25. Forbush will face a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-5.
