In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Herndon Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Patriot Pioneers.

The Hornets now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Washington-Liberty for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 25. Herndon will face a Generals squad coming off a 8-8 non-league Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Generals record now stands at 5-2.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) in a test, on Thursday, April 27. Patriot will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 10-3 league loss to Battlefield (Haymarket, VA).
